How to get through a break-up

mt24Ouch.  You were in love with someone, and that someone said that they don’t love you back….or wanted to take a “break”……or wanted to “be friends.”  Nothing feels as good as the high of love and nothing feels as crappy as a break-up.

As a relationship therapist for almost a decade, I have heard both sides of the story the dumper and the dumpee (aka YOU).   I have seen what works and what doesn’t work in getting over someone.  You are an adult.  You have to do what seems best for you at the time.  This is just some advice.  As they say, “Take what you want, leave the rest.”
